Dermatologists recommend opting for unrefined coconut oil, particularly cold-pressed over expeller-pressed, as it's believed to retain more nutrients. Cold-pressed coconut oil is considered more advantageous for skincare due to its potential benefits in reducing dark spots, soothing facial redness, and correcting uneven skin tone.
